The endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) method of treating varicose veins has allowed patients with: - varicose veins - venous skin damage (venous eczema) - swollen and aching legs due to venous reflux - venous leg ulcers to be treated under local anaesthetic as walk-in walk-out patients. Our research from The Whiteley Clinic has shown that EVLA (endovenous laser ablation) for varicose veins or other vein conditions has better long term results than stripping of the veins - the traditional way of treating them.
