Welcome
to the Laser Varicose Vein website. The
endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) method of treating varicose veins has
allowed patients with:- varicose veins - venous skin damage (venous eczema) - swollen and aching legs due to venous reflux - venous leg ulcers to be treated under local anaesthetic as walk-in walk-out patients. Our research from The Whiteley Clinic has shown that EVLA (endovenous laser ablation) for varicose veins or other vein conditions has better long term results than stripping of the veins - the traditional way of treating them. The Whiteley Clinic is an internationally renowned vein clinic with its main research, teaching and development centre in the Guildford clinic and a London clinic in Harley Street. The Whiteley Clinic was set up by Mr Mark Whiteley following his introduction of keyhole surgery for veins into the UK in 1999. Mark and his team have continued to stay at the forefront of new vein surgery, winning prizes, publishing research and inventing new operations. If you would like to know more about The Whiteley Clinic, please see our main website www.theWhiteleyclinic.co.uk. |
